We now have three projects pending:
1. Marianna Sprayfield to irrigate local farms and ranches.
2. Removal of fallen trees from the Chipola River.
3. Expanding the Florida Caverns and fixing Muddy Branch an impaired water and protecting endangered species in the Park.
PLEASE CONTACT GARY IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO PARTICIPATE OR HAVE IDEAS FOR NEW PROJECTS!!!

Recent notes from Gary Latham:
"For the record I turned in the Final Report and the Watershed Comprehensive Plan i.e. Action Strategy for our Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission Legacy grant Tuesday June 5 2007. I do appreciate everyone's assistance with this...Our grant has actually received national recognition being sent to the US Congress by Florida as a model grant project and by national environmental groups as an exemplary project."
"Herman Laramore suggested a great new grant plan. Tap into Marianna's sprayfield water to irrigate farms and ranches enroute. The grant would pay for the setup needed for each participant. This would provide irrigation and take pressure off the sprayfield which will need to be expanded as Marianna grows."
"I emailed our 35 member agency Taskforce and got positive responses from several agencies regarding our partnership activities as well as potential grants..."
